Lesson 3
Making Decisions
This week, our Footprints for Life story focused on making decisions. You learned that you can make healthy decisions, even if you are feeling pressure from your friends. You also learned that you are responsible for making your own decisions, and that you cannot place blame on other people for your choices. Something to keep in mind is that good decisions can bring positive consequences (or rewards), but bad decisions can bring negative consequences (or punishments). If you make a mistake and get in trouble, it is important to remember that you are not a bad person! Even though you made a bad decision, you can learn from your mistakes so you do not make that same bad choice twice.
You now have the skills to resist peer pressure and make the best and healthiest decisions for you!
